Trained in fine arts, he has worked as a photographer on reporting assignments since 1991 and on strictly photography assignments since 2008.
Assignments since 2008 have covered fashion, nature, music, portraits and events. His clients range from private customers to large clients such as Arla Foods and the European Commission.
In 2010 he won the Danish Music Photo of the Year award. In 2013 he became the Nature Photographer of the Year in Denmark and also won the prize for having shot the Danish nature photograph of the year.
Ard is available to work on almost any assignment that doesn't involve blood and standing in line with other photographers.
